LIVE AND SESSION DOUBLE BASS
Scott Warman is a professional and highly experienced double-bass player and vocalist living in Brighton.
Scott's worked with a range of successful artists, including Finley Quaye, New York Americana singer Annie Keating, Amelia White from Nashville, Robbie Cavanagh from Manchester, Oysterband and Mission drummers Dil Davies and Mike Kelly, Plainsong guitarist Andy Roberts, and Theseus Gerard, a former member of highly successful touring percussion troupe Stomp.
He tours the UK and internationally and has appeared on BBC programmes including Radio 4’s Loose Ends, Bob Harris Country on Radio 2, the Tom Robinson Show on 6 Music and Alex Lester’s Radio 2 Christmas Day programme, sandwiched between Willie Nelson and Nina Simone!
In 2017 he played the highly prestigious Country to Country Festival at London’s 02 and toured Europe for five weeks with Annie Keating’s band, which included radio and TV sessions across Europe.
This year he will be touring with Amelia White from Nashville, Porchlight Smoker and playing with Robbie Cavanagh and Demi Marriner.
Scott is available for sessions, gigging work and touring.
Scott is used by many artists as a dep musician and he’s often asked to do studio session work. He covers a diverse range of musical styles, including pop, Americana, country, western swing, blues and gypsy jazz.
